Drums from coffee tin

Have you heard about making drums at home? Drums can be made from the coffee tin. You have to start removing the lid and the label form the coffee tin. The label works as the guide and then cut the construction paper to fit it. Then glue the construction paper on the coffee tin using the craft glue. If you are not able to use the label as guide then use the ruler to measure the width of label area on tin. Draw rectangle on construction paper. Then attach the fabric on top of coffee tin.

Put the lid on coffee tin backside on the fabric and then develop the solid surface so that the child can drum on it. The edge of lid can be hidden with the help of ribbon on the tin. The next step is to decorate the drum. For the decoration purpose you can use the stickers, markers and feathers as the decorating material. The designs can be made around the drum and feathers can be hung. Now the drums are ready and you just have to find the sticks that can be used for drumming. The light weight wooden sticks should be used as drumsticks.
