Drum from flower pot

It is also possible to make African drum. Take a cardboard tube and flower pot. The drum is made of cardboard tube and form the plastic flower pot. You can get the cardboard tube free from carpet store. The carpet tube is 3 to 4 inches in diameter and at the bottom of flower pot is 4 inches in diameter. Then find the beach ball and for that you need the thick and pliable plastic material which can be used to make the drum. The beach ball works perfect and any other thick material will work but the balloon is too thin.

Then you have to use the scissors to cut the carpet tub so that it becomes 12 inches long. Make sure that the tube is cut straight and it should not be cut at angle. This is necessary so that it gets attached flat on the flower pot. Then cut the square from beach ball. For this start from the cutting the plastic blow tube from the beach ball. Then put the plastic square in embroidery hoop. Attach the drum head to the flower pot and then attach the flower pot to the carpet tube. The drum is ready and now it is the time to decorate the drum.
