The drums – a percussive musical instrument forming an acoustic chamber

A drum is the popular musical instrument which is spanned with the thin cover. It is generally cylindrical in shape and the hollow at inside. The drum is the instrument that is being played at the festival and during the marriage at some places. The uses of drums are mainly done in occasions where people love to enjoy and are in a festive mood.

Workings of drums

The drums sound is very soothing to the ear when it is properly played. The workings of the drums are as follows:

• The drums are cylindrical in shape, and that is to create the sound.

• The drums are hollow from inside, and the hollowness allows the blow to create the vibration of the particles, and that creates the sound.

• The drums consist of thin cover at the end, and that thin cover allows the formation of the sound along with the hollow portion of the drum.

Drawbacks

Presently the drums are not used. It has been replaced with the electronic musical instrument which sounds better than the drums. The electric instrument which sounds same as the drum is much easier than the drum.
